The FSEA will hold a new event in its FSEA Conference Series – the FSEA Online Spring Summit: Add Value to Print. The online event, held weekly from April 28 through May 19, will be held one day each week, with two hours of programming on each day. Each weekly event will have a distinct programming theme.
Thank you to these industry leaders for sponsoring the FSEA Online Spring Summit!
Don't miss the FSEA Online Spring Summit!
Speakers and sessions are targeted directly to the needs of those performing print decorating, finishing and binding operations.
The first 200 registrants (whether one week or all four!) will receive a gift from FSEA and the event sponsors. The WOW! Box allows event attendees to explore the World Of Wonder for print embellishments. Included in each box:
- FSEA Sustainability Study: Repulping of Foil Decorated Paper. In 2020, as sustainability issues come to the forefront of the print decorating industry, the association commissioned a second study to be undertaken by the Georgia Tech Renewable Bioproducts Institute. The study demonstrates that foil decorated paper and board via foil stamping do not create problems in the recyclability/repulpability of paper and/or board in a common repulping process.
- Foil Cheat Sheet: FSEA and online graphics hub PaperSpecs have released the Foil Cheat Sheet, a metallic foil decorating reference for graphic designers. The Foil Cheat Sheet contains a section detailing and illustrating each of the following techniques and materials: Hot Foil Stamping, Cold Foil Transfer, Toner Digital Foil, Varnish Digital Foil and Foil Substrates. The advantages and disadvantages of each type of metallic foil process are detailed.
- FSEA White Paper: Transforming Direct Mail with Print Embellishments. The eight-page paper provides detailed information on why direct mail works in the overcrowded digital world and how direct mail campaigns have used foil, specialty coatings and other embellishments to enhance noticeability and response rates.
- Print and Packaging Samples featuring a variety of specialty binding and finishing techniques. These samples will serve as inspiration for attendees as they dive into the World Of Wonder for print embellishments!
